Designed for Safety
Yale is famous for providing safe lift trucks that are flexible and adaptable for various tasks and applications. The ability to engineer and produce units for better safety comes from the new technology which is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
In their newest designs, Yale has started incorporating newly available technologies. Several of the new technologies which are on the market are initially applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company conducts numerous reliability development and controlled field tests so as to ensure their products are very safe.
To be able to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed a lot of new features, which have been incorporated on lots of models like:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The operator compartment has been engineered with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids exhaustion and heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Before starting their shift, the operator could make sure he or she is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation known as the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the machine if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on internal combustion engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
