Combilift is a business which was originally founded by engineers Robert Moffett and Martin McVicar. They had more than 40 years of experience between them when they first founded the business in the year 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In only over 10 years, Combilift became a leader within the global long-load handling market, providing products to more than 50 markets all over the world. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors which have assisted expand distribution into numerous markets around the world and utilizing their extensive experience and knowledge, Moffett and McVicar have made products which are in high demand and had sold 10,000 models by mid 2009.

C-Series Combilifts come in an array of mast options. Lift heights up to nine meters and lift capacities as much as 25,000 kilograms are available. Combilift Straddle Carriers offer the ability to move oversized, heavy cargo like fully loaded containers which weigh as much as 35 tons. These loads can be transported all over a facility or work site and the Combilift Straddle Carrier can raise fully loaded containers where needed, whether it be from the trailer to the ground, from the ground to the trailer, or from trailer to trailer.
